‘Milieucharter Oost-Vlaanderen’, the latest achievement of EOC!

Once again, EOC achieves the ‘Milieucharter Oost Vlaanderen’ (Environmental Charter East Flanders). During the ceremony on Thursday 7th of June 2012, EOC was praised for the numerous environmental initiatives realized in 2011 and the actions which are on the program for 2012.

The Environmental Charter is an initiative of VOKA (Chamber of Commerce East Flanders) and the Province of East Flanders. Purpose is to encourage companies to an active environmental policy that goes beyond what the legislator wishes to receive. By the granting of this award EOC sees its environmental actions and his -in the daily policy incorporated- care for the environment, honored.

The action plan of the Environmental Charter 2012 includes numerous actions on specific themes like energy, noise/light, hazardous substances/preparations and central purchase/investment, in the general environmental policy and environmental care.
